Contacttype position measuring sensor HGS

Executive Overview (BLUF Engineering Definition)

Contact digital displacement sensors apply optical scale absolute encoding to capture linear micro-displacement with sub-micron repeatability. They replace traditional LVDT analog drift errors and support synchronous multi-probe sampling for relay armature gap, terminal height, and mechanical stroke inline gauging. This fixed-tolerance detection stabilizes dimensional consistency for high-volume relay assembly and testing processes.

Micro-Gauging Requirements for Relay Core Components

Relay armature motion clearance, terminal crimp height, and spring stroke directly determine pickup voltage, dropout stability and contact switching lifespan. Conventional analog sensors suffer from cumulative drift and insufficient resolution, failing to screen micro-deviations below 2μm. Sub-micron level closed-loop gauging is mandatory to sustain Cpk ≥1.67 in automotive and industrial relay batch production.

  • Key inline measurement objects:
  • Armature working gap flatness
  • Copper terminal riveting height tolerance
  • Moving spring effective stroke displacement

Multi-Probe Synchronous Sampling Control Logic

Multi-channel synchronous controllers support simultaneous sampling of 4–8 contact probes, completing one full relay core dimensional inspection within 20ms. Synchronous data uploading eliminates sequential sampling time difference errors, matching high-speed beat requirements of automated rear testing production lines.
